Crossed The Tiber

An Evangelical Converts to Catholicism

My Photo
Name: Tiber Jumper
Location: United States

I was born into the Catholic faith. At 14, I was "born again" and found Jesus personally but lost His Church. After thirty years, I have come to find that He has been there all the time. I am in love with Jesus and His Church. I am a geriatrician and internist and musician.

Anglican Pastor Comes Home: Welcome Home Timotheus!

Here's a comment I just received on my Why I Returned to the Church"

Dear sir,

I am an Anglican/evangelical/Catholic who was raised RC. I am coming home!!
I live in Hunterdon County NJ.
Is that far from you? I am married with 5 kids and I am a pastor. Soon wont be. Also, without a job most likely. But I know the Catholic Church is the Fold of Christ.

Timotheus

Timotheus, our prayers are with you. We look forward to hearing your testimony!

God bless you Timotheus and welcome back Home! I will remember you in prayer today...and light a candle at OLPH shrine, for all
"returnees" and more to follow!

Welcome home, Timotheus! I'm near Trenton, NJ, if that means anything.

Timely. Last night due to unusual weekend scheduling, my wife attended the Lifeteen Mass at another parish. After a pessimistic debriefing, I pointed out that few of the steady stream of converts/reverts were coming home in order to attend a BongoMass (our private & uncharitable term for praiseband Masses), which is a great cause for optimism.
Welcome back, Timotheus.
