Cholera Reaches the Capital
Reports of cholera in Port-Au-Prince surfaced yesterday. It was only a matter of time. The floods and non-existent sanitation in and around the tent camps provided the perfect environment for this disease to flourish and spread. We left a large amount of re-hydration salts in September and October so Lord willing, Father Andrew will have something with which to help the people in and around his parish if it spreads to Delmas 31.
