Crossed The Tiber

An Evangelical Converts to Catholicism

My Photo
Name:
Location: Pennsylvania, United States

I was born into the Catholic faith. At 14, I was "born again" and found Jesus personally but lost His Church. After thirty years as an evangelical protestant, I have come full circle to find that He has been there all the time, in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. I wish others to find the beauty and truth of the Catholic faith as I have found.

This is good stuff. There is more!

I dumped cable TV in favor of over the air + Netflix streaming + HuluPlus (total: $16/mo). To view the streaming on my TVs, I bought Roku boxes (~ $50 ea).

In addition to paid streaming "channels", the Roku also has free channels. There you will find EWTN, Catholic.TV and the Newman Connection (among others). All free! (Comcast required a more expensive than basic package just to get EWTN.) On these "channels", you can access both live and archived content.
