Crossed The Tiber

An Evangelical Converts to Catholicism

My Photo
Name:
Location: Pennsylvania, United States

I was born into the Catholic faith. At 14, I was "born again" and found Jesus personally but lost His Church. After thirty years as an evangelical protestant, I have come full circle to find that He has been there all the time, in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. I wish others to find the beauty and truth of the Catholic faith as I have found.

Late For Supper!

Rob Evans, The Donut Man, gave his testimony of conversion on EWTN's Journey Home Program last nite. It was complete with a box of donuts and his trademark hat and tortoise rim glasses! Keep Rob and his family in prayer as they seek the Lord for direction with his ministry.
His new website will give details of his testimony www.lateforsupper.com with downloadable audio files chapter by chapter.
Check out the article in Catholic Standard and Times/newspaper for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Welcome Home Donut Man!
Hear his downloadable story from 9/11/2006 from EWTN's website.

(I was late for Supper too for about 3o years as well, and I am making up for lost time)

Donut man gets dunked in the Tiber and lives to tell about it! Many have been very happy, and delighted interviewed on TJH, but Rob was ELATED and it was written all over his face heard in his voice. His remarkable story takes the...donut, cake, glazed, jelly WITH SPRINKLES!
Rob's one phenomenal joyous Catholic and it charged me up to listen to him last night! I posted his links on our blog, too. What a phenomenal witness for ONE CHURCH, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM, ONE BODY, ONE MIND, ONE HEART. We will pray for him and his ministry and future endeavors to share the FULLNESS of the WHOLE, HOLY "DONUT" with the kids and their parents!
