Crossed The Tiber
An Evangelical Converts to Catholicism
About Me
- Name: Russ Rentler, M.D.
- Location: Pennsylvania, United States
I was born into the Catholic faith. At 14, I was "born again" and found Jesus personally but lost His Church. After thirty years as an evangelical protestant, I have come full circle to find that He has been there all the time, in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. I wish others to find the beauty and truth of the Catholic faith as I have found.

Now play it with only your thumbs!
Excellent and enjoyable ditty, TJ.
In other news, Kristin and I attended Mass at the Allentown cathedral several times over the Christmas-New Years holidays. Could've made parishioners out of us if we lived, y'know, somewhat closer than 55 miles away!
Wish you did live closer!
We love the Cathedral too, don't get there too much though.
How's the book sales going? I was recently rereading parts of it when thinking about writing some music for the Mass. On my first attempt I created a liturgical no-no by leaving out the second "Have mercy On Us" :(
I'm nearing 500 books, and I'm releasing the 2nd edition of the book by the end of the month. I expanded a few of the chapters.
The additional content will be made available free on the book's web site too.
I have your liturgical music post bookmarked, but I'm WAAAY behind in my blog-reading!
That's tremendous Jeff! May God keep blessing your endeavors. If more ex-Catholics and non-Catholics read your book, they would come away with a new appreciation for Catholicism. And maybe even want to "Come Home."
I've heard of this Rentler guy. He's very good and should be famous by now.
Owen, he already thinks too much of himself!
!!!!! EXCELLENT !!!!!
