Crossed The Tiber

An Evangelical Converts to Catholicism

My Photo
Name:
Location: Pennsylvania, United States

I was born into the Catholic faith. At 14, I was "born again" and found Jesus personally but lost His Church. After thirty years as an evangelical protestant, I have come full circle to find that He has been there all the time, in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. I wish others to find the beauty and truth of the Catholic faith as I have found.

Well, now THIS room is a room of tears! (You should distribute free tissues with that video!) How beautiful to see the joy on the faces in the crowd at the declaration "Habemus Papam!" I remember my joy when I realized that it was Cardinal Ratzinger who had been elected. Thank God for this man who has been faithful to his calling!

Amen! When I first made the video, I remember weeping when I saw Blessed John Paul2 in the hospital room and skipping in Saint Peter's. I was surprised myself at how the election of the pope had affected me. I had been Catholic just about a year at that point.
