Crossed The Tiber

An Evangelical Converts to Catholicism

My Photo
Name:
Location: Pennsylvania, United States

I was born into the Catholic faith. At 14, I was "born again" and found Jesus personally but lost His Church. After thirty years as an evangelical protestant, I have come full circle to find that He has been there all the time, in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. I wish others to find the beauty and truth of the Catholic faith as I have found.

Hey TJ,
None of the links open here, or is it only me that finds the dreaded white page with "Not Found Error 404?"

I thought I should get the award for least visited blog and the one with the least comments, but maybe someone else won that? Not complaining mind you, for it's only my thoughts being blabbed on a blog and they're not worthy of being noticed or commented on by all that many folks, let alone "awarded."

The CBA's are probably a fun and perhaps a neat thing - a way to recognize the works, findings and thoughts of us Catholics, but somehow, in some small way it seems kind of...wrong. I'm not being a pompous prig, or a party pooper, it just seems like awards for amateur thinkers, no matter how brilliant, and creative are an odd thing. Please don't misunderstand me, I'm sure it's a great way to spread everyone's blogs around. I simply ponder and plod on posting things of interest to me and find it a nice creative outlet, since I like to write and read and learn so much.

Blogging for me has been a most fun way to simply meet other on-fire Catholic converts and reverts and cradle Catholics with much wisdom and joy to share. A big BLOCK or I should say BLOG Party in the internet cul-de-sac of life...minus the beer and hotdogs.

Be that as it may, congrats, TJ, your blog has and does and will always rock...all the way across the TIBER. I'm so glad you dove in and took the swim, or we'd have not met, so I'll be forever grateful.

Congrats! I voted for you for a few of those! :)

I was nominated but only for one... which is amazing to me nonetheless!

Congrats on your nomination...I'll admit I nominated you for one of those categories.

And I voted for you, too! :-)

I didn't win, either, but it was fun to be involved as something other than a voter this year, and what a great number of blogs out there speaking up for Christ! :-) Amazing stuff!
