Crossed The Tiber
An Evangelical Converts to Catholicism
About Me
- Name: Russ Rentler, M.D.
- Location: Pennsylvania, United States
I was born into the Catholic faith. At 14, I was "born again" and found Jesus personally but lost His Church. After thirty years as an evangelical protestant, I have come full circle to find that He has been there all the time, in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. I wish others to find the beauty and truth of the Catholic faith as I have found.

Hmmm...mindless, triumphal automatons run by a central nexus, forcing their quest for perfection on the universe. Interesting analogy. :)
touche!
Sigh, TJ. Just wait until some anti-Catholic gets his hands on that image. We'll be busted! ;)
What are you guys now, borg-againers?
PA:
Yeah, Catholics are just borg again Christians!
Japhy:
We are so busted already! :)
After I put this image up, I realized it goes against the prime directive!
LOL

As we say in cyberland, LOL!!!! Excellent! That was a Zinger!
Pilgrim, it was great meeting you and your son this past weekend. Your obvious charity testifies to Christ's redemptive work in you and helps sustain hope for our seeing the fulfillment of Our Lord's own petition to The Father on our behalf.
May God continue blessing us with grace for obedience in truth that perfects us in Christ; not as mindless, triumphal automatons, but as humble and willing servants of God, guided by the Holy Spirit.
Your brother in Christ,
--Theo
I see the real significance of the picture. This is the Kabbah of Islam with the Roman Church in the middle, L@@k
This is prophecy and unveiled truth all in one jpeg surrounded by a message from a dead language, a secret code in Greek
Maybe the picture is really a Rorshak
test !
Theo,
Likewise, I was glad to get a chance to talk to you Saturday. Your daughter is a doll! Do you think she'd convert for my son? :) It's nice to know that a couple of hardcore believers in our respective communions can have a healthy, respectful conversation. I hope that kind of thing can spread throughout the blogosphere. Lord willing.
God's best to you and yours,
Pilgrimsarbour
Since when is Greek a dead language? Now if you'd said French... :-)
