Offer It Up
On a retreat a few weeks ago, I was praying and meditating on the Prayer of Surrender and got an idea to write a song based on this prayer. Here's the link. See what you think.
An Evangelical Converts to Catholicism
I was born into the Catholic faith. At 14, I was "born again" and found Jesus personally but lost His Church. After thirty years as an evangelical protestant, I have come full circle to find that He has been there all the time, in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. I wish others to find the beauty and truth of the Catholic faith as I have found.

Oh, I wish I could listen! Dialup doesn't let me!
It's one of my favorite prayers, which is why I keep re=posting it on my blog. Every time I get a prayer card, I give it away. It's too good to keep!
Maybe tomorrow at work I can listen....
Sorry haven't been around much, but have been following.
Hey Adoro! How are you, I too am sorry I dont get to visit back much either these days, thanks so much for stopping by.
When the album is finished I will send you a copy, but you'll have to remind me!
Can't think of anything you write that isn't wonderful, as is this.
thanks Owen, appreciate the encouraging words. I struggle so with trying to put "on tape" what I hear in my head. As can be heard, my vocal chords remain my weakest instrument, but I'm thankful for what I have.
Hey TJ, that is a wonderful song.
My father passed away five weeks ago so it couldn't come at a better time. It's something I really need to hear right now.
And I'm so looking forward to the album.
TJ, thanks for the CD. I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, but I will soon! :)
(Or, as the verification word below puts it: "later")
Astonishing! I clicked the link and started listening, and then I realized it was after 9 AM and "The Best of Mother Angelica Live" was on EWTN, so I decided to open up EWTN's streaming video...
... and Fr. Groeschel was there, talking about Father Walter Ciszek hearing confessions in concentration camps in Russia!
prayers for you and your Dad. Nancy, I am sorry
Jeff, I believe that the saints pray for us so that these "coincidences" we see are faith builders for us. Very cool!!
