Pope Benedict and a Near-Miss
Today, a man attempted to" reach out" to the Pope today as his open pope-mobile passed a crowd. The Vatican security team "layed holy hands" on the man as the Pope continued to greet the crowds oblivious to the incident. So far there is no information regarding the motivation for the individual's attempt to reach the pope. Perhaps he was an over-zealous new convert attempting to get his copy of Pope Benedict's new book signed!
Let us ask for St. Michael's intercession for our holy father. Looks to me like he was already working overtime today.
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen

I figured it was because the gas prices are too high over there too, lol, so he was trying to hitch a ride. I understand that just an hour before he was trying to siphon the petrol from the popemobile lol.
Praying here. Thanks for the St. Michael intercession--very appropriate.
Man! I wish I could get the "laying on of hands". But without the "roughing up of the body".
